JOYOUS CELEBRATION OF OASIS WATER’S 300TH OUTLET

The Van den Berg family and their stellar team come together with Oasis Water head office to commemorate this landmark occasion
Equestria, Pretoria: On Friday,1 November 2019, the family team of mom Charmaine van den Berg with sons Riaan(26), Deon(23) and Dewald(19) were excited to celebrate their 9th Oasis water outlet with their entire staff team. Their 9th outlet also marked the wildly successful Oasis Water franchise’s 300th outlet in South Africa! “This was a team effort, and we celebrate together,” said director Riaan van den Berg. Festivities took place at their latest Oasis Water shop in the brand new Lynnwood Lane shopping centre conveniently situated on Lynnwood road, just next to the Grove mall.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was performed by Vera Valaises, executive director at the Franchise Association of South Africa (FASA). “Most franchise groups only dream of reaching 300 outlets, and the few who do manage this feat, like Postnet, take more than 21 years to accomplish it. To reach 300 in only 16 years of operation is astounding.” Mynhardt Oosthuizen, Oasis Water managing director praised the Van den Berg family team for their professionalism, integrity and devotion to their team and to the Oasis brand. All five the Oasis Water Franchise Directors were present at this prestigious event and the festive atmosphere was infectious with balloons, bubbly and smiles all around. Guests feasted on the delicious cake baked by Riaan’s lovely wife Simoné. The Van den Bergs lauded the deceased patriarch of the family for his vision and foresight in investing in an Oasis Water franchise in order to leave a financial legacy for his sons when he was diagnosed with cancer. Since his passing, the rest of the family has honoured his memory by increasing the one outlet to nine through hard work, dedication and investing in their people to grow the business. For the Van den Berg’s it is all about the team. They humbly admit that without their faithful team, they would not be able to run this successful business. This of course mirrors the Oasis Water group’s threefold focus of People, Planet and Profit – they go hand-in-hand.
This 300th outlet of the successful Oasis Water brand, brings pure ozonated water to local communities with their innovative, eco-friendly refill concept. Now residents in the vicinity of the Lynnwood Lane centre can enjoy the comfort of having Oasis Water on their doorstep.
