A significant benefit of the Crisp & Clean franchise model is that franchisees are levied by territory, not per store and as the allocated territories are generously proportioned, franchisees are able to open multiple outlets in their territory without incurring additional franchise fees.
Crisp & Clean’s door-to-door business model allow franchisees to build a base of domestic and commercial laundry and dry-cleaning clients. The complementary cleaning services which utilise the same resources used for collections and deliveries should be employed to generate immediate positive cash flow while the customer base for laundry and dry-cleaning is built up. Franchisees are strongly encouraged to develop both revenue streams as this will allow them to reach break-even sooner while contributing to their ongoing profitability.
In the main Metros, franchisees will be allocated multiple wards, each incorporating several suburbs, while in the Local Municipalities the franchise area will encompass the entire municipal area. Resourcing the business properly from the outset is critical to the success of the business.
